From 5 November to 19 December 2015, David Zwirner presents the gallery’s first exhibition with Bridget Riley in New York.
This exhibition includes paintings and works on paper spanning almost 35 years of Riley’s practice. It includes vertical stripe works and rhomboid paintings of the 1980–90s, curved paintings of the late 1990s as well as recent horizontal stripe paintings.
Also on view are a series of new black-and-white paintings – directly inspired by Riley's 1962 painting Tremor – and the first presentation of the artist's wall painting Rajasthan (2012) in the United States.
