Alison Wilding: Drawings: Viewing Room
Karsten Schubert London is pleased to present this online viewing room of Alison Wilding’s recent drawings. Created in her studio over the last year, these works on paper incorporate acrylic inks, Japanese paper and collage.
One of Britain's foremost sculptors, Alison Wilding rose to prominence on the international art scene in the 1980s and has been represented by Karsten Schubert for over thirty years. She is renowned for her use of numerous techniques to create works comprised of inherent contrasts, defusing viewers' expectations with her use of opposing materials and forms. Wilding's recent major solo exhibitions include The Whitworth, Manchester and the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill on Sea.
Presented here are four series of drawings: Zig Zag Drawings, Adrift Series, Sleeping Dog Drawings and Cut Series.
