Rose English's project, curated by Helen Little with Leeds Art Gallery, has been shortlisted for the sixth annual Freelands Award, recognising and awarding the work of contemporary female artists. In a pivotal period of her practice, English presents a body of work reflecting on her time in Leeds during the 1970's and revisits the development of some of her most renowned themes and forms of expression.
