Over the span of several months, Winstanley photographed empty painting studios from over 50 art colleges across the United Kingdom. Drawn from the photography of these studios spaces, Winstanley has translated their pure representation into a corresponding painting series exhibited in Germany, Ireland and the US.
In this volume, the full photography series is accompanied by a text by Jon Thompson and an interview with the artist by Maria Fusco.
Contained within a custom-made slipcase, the signed book also includes an editioned digital print by the artist.
